“Fear-free, terror-free Jammu and Kashmir is emerging under PM Modi’s leadership”: LG Sinha in Delhi Seminar

Web Desk, 16/07/2025

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday addressed a seminar on a seminar on “March to Peace of Jammu and Kashmir” as part of the lecture series organized by Gandhi Smriti on Wednesday.

In his address, Sinha said, “Pujya Bapu’s philosophy is a source of inspiration for UT and our education system is developing the values of truth, non -violence and compassion among the youth.”

He said, “Honorable PM Shri Narendra Modi is fulfilling the dream of Mahatma Gandhi. Since 2019, he has been building a fear-free, terror-free Jammu and Kashmir, who will make his place as a symbol of peace between developed states and UTS”, he said.

Sinha said, “To celebrate Pujya Bapu’s birth anniversary, a month-long peace march is held in the Kashmir Valley every year. It shows that J&K is reclaiming his legacy as a land of peace. The youth are now conscious of the fact that Bapu’s dreams are Jammu and Kashmir and peace.”

He said, “The wind of this change has provoked the terrorist nation Pakistan and it constantly tries to hurt the soul of India and its cultural-spiritual fabric. The purpose of the Pahgam terror attack was to stop UT’s economic progress, but we are moving fresh, he said.
