Budgam police attach the immovable properties of Pakistan -based terrorist handlers

In a large crack on terrorist operators and their support structures, the Budgam police on Wednesday attached three properties related to Pakistan -based terrorist handlers (JKNOP) located in Khag, Chewa Birwah, and said the Harvani Khanshib areas of Jammu and Kashmir (JK) Budgam.

According to Kashmir Police, action was taken in the presence of the concerned Executive Magistrates.

The list of attached properties includes Khasra No. 763, belonging to Manzoor Ahmed Chopan, a double-storey residential house along with the premises of village Harwani Khansahib, Budgam, also known as the son of GH. Mohi-ud-Din Chopan, R/O Harwani Khansahib; A double-storey residential house with 05 kanal, 13 Marlus land in Chuwa Budgam in the village under Khasra No. 151 of Mohammad Yusuf Malik, also known as Molvi, S/O AB. Rahim Malik, R/O Cheva Budgam; And a land measuring 19.5 Marlus located in Khag under Khasra Nose 1093 and 1094 is related to Bilal Ahmed Wani, aka Omar, S/O. GH. Ahmed Wani, R/O Nagbal Khag.

In the case of case FIR number 58/2024 of the Unlawful activities (prevention) Act (UAPA) Act (UAPA), action was taken in connection with the case FIR No. 58/2024, and under the UAPA proceedings under Section 25 of the UAPA for attachment of properties used in terrorist activities.

The Kashmir Police said in a release, “These terrorist handlers have been working from Pakistan, making terrorist activities active and convenient in the region for many years.”

He said, “The attachment to his properties is a part of the ongoing efforts to eliminate logistic, financial and operational networks of terrorist organizations and to cross sponsors. (AI)
