The suspect ran on foot, moving north on the Wineva Avenue towards Queen Street East. Officials have released images of the suspect and are urging anyone to come forward for information.
The suspect is described as a moderate construction and was last seen wearing a black mask, black gloves, a dark brown or charcoal hoodi, black puma sweatpant and black shoes.
The police continue to investigate and are asking anyone who may have seen the incident or who have monitoring footage from the area to contact them.
