Police investigated after 2 GTA cell phone stores on Sunday

Officials in Toronto and Peel area are investigating two separate cell phone stores robbery that took place late on Sunday afternoon.

Peel Regional Police says the first robbery in a Freedom Mobile Store inside Mississaga’s Erin Mills Town Center was around 4:41 pm.

Investigators say that a handgun was observed, but no property was taken. Four suspects then fled in a vehicle.

After less than two hours, the Toronto Police received a report about another robbery at a cell phone store inside the Woodbine Mall in Atobicok, just after 6:00 pm

Officials say four men suspects allegedly stole a quantity of goods and then ran into a vehicle.

It is not clear whether two robberies are attached or not.

There was no injury.
