Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat, on Sunday visited the Special Operations Group (SOG) camp in Lolab in Kupwara district of North Kashmir to review the long -term operations in the area.
Along with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kupwara, Jilani Wani, the DGP assessed the safety measures and preparations of the ground forces engaged in anti-terrorism duties in this strategically sensitive area.
During his visit, DGP Prabhat interacted with J&K Police Special Operations Group and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. He appreciated his dedication and operational effectiveness under difficult terrain and hostile circumstances.
Emphasizing the need for a continuous counter-engineers’ pressure, the DGP called for the tireless pursuit and ineffective of Pakistani terrorists who attempted to interrupt the region or disrupt peace.
