Trump said "16 times" that he ended the Indo-Pakistan war, PM Modi did not have the courage to speak against it: Kharge

Congress chief Mallikrajun Kharge attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday, while he accused him of “pedaling lies” and said the PM lacked the courage to speak against Donald Trump.

Citing the announcement of the “ceasefire” after the terrorist attack of India and Pakistan by the President of India Donald Trump, Kharge said on PM Modi that the Prime Minister lacks the courage to speak against Trump.

“I want to tell you about the lies that lying by Modi and BJP? When the India-Pakistan war was going on, Donald Trump said that he ended the India-Pakistan war and he asked them to stop. Trump said 16 times. Why?

Intensifying his attack against PM Modi, Kharge said that the BJP’s double-engine governments were busy in giving land to Adani and selling public sector undertakings (PSUs).

“When you do not have courage, such people should not rule the country. The person who does not fight with strength to protect the country, we will not accept him as a leader. Modi keeps saying things, but what are their double-prince governments doing?

He said, “I come from the Dalit community, and I firmly feel that if the constitution is saved, I will be saved. Dalits and tribals will be saved. Youths and women will be saved. The farmers will be saved,” he said.

Trump began after the Operation Sindoor announced the “ceasefire” between Trump and Pakistan after the central government entered the fire, after the Gustli Pahgam terror attack by the Indian Army.

However, earlier this month, External Affairs Minister’s Jaishankar denied Trump’s claims that he used trade to accept India and Pakistan to accept the ceasefire after the tension between the two neighboring countries increased.

Jaishankar said he was present when Prime Minister Narendra Modi and American Vice President JD Vance had a telephone conversation on the night of 9 May.

Asked about whether the claims of using Trump as a means of resolving the India-Pakistan struggle have affected the trade talks, Jaishankar said, “No, I don’t think that I think business people are doing people who are doing people who are interacting with numbers and lines and products and focusing on their business.
