5-time repeated drunk driving criminal out on bail after multi-marriage accident in Brampton

A five-time repeat criminal for impaired driving is on bail after a serious multi-marriage accident in Brampton in the previous weekend, which has left a person with a life-changing injuries.

In Peel area, police were called to the highway 50 and four-vehicle accident on the highway 50 at 4 pm on 5 July.

Police say three people were rushed to the hospital and a 21-year-old man is in critical condition with “long-term life-changing injuries”.

The police have accused 58 -year -old Kushal Kasiram of Mississaga, which caused impaired driving physical damage, which led to driving with three cases of additional blood alcohol and prohibited driving.

Investigators say Kasiram was released after a bail hearing with the condition that he would not drive a motor vehicle.

Police say that Kasiram is a five-time repetition criminal for impaired driving-affiliated culprits and there was also three separate life driving prohibition at the time of the accident.

“We are committed to keeping dangerous drivers, such as Mr. Kasiram, are accountable to his actions,” Deputy Chief Mark Andrews said in a release on Thursday. “Repeat criminals will have to face enough consequences to prevent them from continuing, and we are working to ensure that it happens.”
