Volleyball coach alleged in alleged sexual attack: Toronto Police

A volleyball coach has been arrested and accused in connection with an alleged sexual attack in Toronto.

According to the Toronto Police Service (TPS), the authorities launched an investigation on June 19, 2025, after receiving a sexual attack report, which included a private volleyball club in the fields of Pharmacy Avenue and McNicol Avenue in Scarborough.

Investigators alleged that the victim attended the club for a lesson when the coach recognized Markham’s 57 -year -old King Wu, who goes by “Coach Wu”, sexually harassed him.

Wu was arrested on 6 July 2025, and has since been accused of a count of sexual harassment. He is expected to appear in court on August 28, 2025.

The police is asking anyone to come forward and contact the investigators with information related to the case.
