“This is real rule”: PSAJK President reopen the school at the time of the Education Minister

Web Desk, 08/07/2025

After a few weeks of summer holiday, the schools in Kashmir re -opened up today, which brought back the vibrant discussion of the students. From government institutions to private schools, students expressed happiness and readiness to resume learning.

While a debate on expansion of holidays due to heatwaves gained momentum online, students and education leaders have strongly welcomed the decision of the Jammu and Kashmir government to reopen schools without any delay, to defeat the heat over the morning.

In a statement issued to the press, PSAJK state president GN VAR said that “Today I visited many schools and I see that the children were excited to come back, re -involving friends and teachers in a lively educational environment. Students had no complaints about early school hours, some of the mother -father have seen real discomfort, who have been conflicted with a hurry.

“We are grateful to take a bold and intelligent decision in the interest of students of Government of Jammu and Kashmir and Education, Mrs. Sekena Itu,” said the groom said

“This is a difference between a public-serving government. Today’s decision was bold, intelligent and absolutely necessary and for this, we are honestly grateful.”

He said, “Despite calling social media campaigns to expand the holiday, we found that the students had no problem with the morning school hours. In fact, most of the concerns came from the parents who are not in the habit of getting up early,” he said.

VAR further said, “Look at any religion in the world, they all advocate to wake up early.” The saying exists for a reason to get up early and early from the bed, this knowledge and research is supported by knowledge and research, and science. The healthy routine begins at home. “

Experts also said that early morning benefits are scientifically proven, high oxygen levels, better attention and improvement in better mental health. In contrast, the increasing habit of watching late TV or scrolling on mobile phones has disrupted healthy sleep cycles, especially for our children.

Var further said, “Children’s habits are shaped at an early age, I am not just talking about toddlers or kindergarten, we are mentioning students from grade 6 to 12th. If they are not trained to get up early and follow a routine, will they learn discipline ever?”

CPS School Administrative Officer ER. Nawab Ali Ju echoed similar feelings “We should accommodate the realities and respond. We are already losing important educational days due to winter and environmental challenges,” Ju said.

“Alhamadulillah, our team has worked hard to prepare. We have shifted time in the initial hours and are ensuring a smooth orbit atmosphere. Every single day matters now and we should count each one in the interest of our children’s educational development.”

Principal Junaid-ul-Shabar Khan also strengthened the importance of flexibility and preparations “Life is full of challenges and our work as teachers is to train children that they are not to avoid them”.

He added, “Today’s atmosphere was good, classes were ventilated with cooling fans and unlopteries are avoided by any heat related discomfort. We should nourish students to adapt, competition and excel in all circumstances.”

Many students talked with passion, praised the government’s approach and advocated more attention to education. “I was remembering my friends and teachers. We were facing academic losses sitting at home,” said a student of class 10th grade.

He said, “The government did not take a good decision by not extending the holiday. We have to face the situation, do not have to run away from it.”

Another student highlighted the widespread impact “We are a young young age. Online learning limits. Schools focus us discipline, direction and focus. The initial beginning is a smart solution.”

“We should deal with global warming and environmental challenges together, have a role of governments, schools and citizens, we cannot stop education every time a challenge arises”. Another student said.

The teachers appreciated the joint efforts at the time of early school and behind the well -organized teaching. The pleasant monsoon weather added to a cheerful mood, as the students happily attended classrooms, paid attention and showed interest in learning.
