Toronto – Rogers Stadium is ready to welcome thousands of coldplay fans tonight by the British Rock Band for the first four shows of the four shows, as the organizers say they are “adjustment” to improve the crowd control at Toronto’s latest outdoor music site.
Last Sunday, after the inaugural concert of the site, some attendees said it took up to two hours to get out of the stadium as the site and transit services looked ill to handle the large crowd.
Concerts also complained about the limited access to water at the stadium, with some cases describing a few hours lineups at stations that spread hot water.
Live Nation Canada, which operates the stadium near the Downsview Park, says that this fan will add more signage, lighting, staff and water stations to improve the experience.
It also states that the exit routes of the stadium will be re -configured to spread the crowd at all three metro stations to reduce the crowd at the Downsview Park Station, which also serves the Go train passengers.
The Toronto Transit Commission has stated that it would add more staff to its daenswue park and Wilson stations on concert nights, while the metrolinux only said that it would “closely monitor” for events at the stadium.
Meanwhile, the ticketmaster has sent an email to the coldplay ticket holders that would be advised that cellular reception in Rogers Stadium Gates “will be limited as it is a large capacity site.”
James Pasternak, a city councilor, whose ward includes the daustview park area, stated that “respectable but blunt”, what is needed to improve in Rogers Stadium, during a meeting with Live Nation and Northcrest Developments on Wednesday, who own the property.
“With the first performance, with the first performance, Pasarternak said in a social media post, with all the responsible parties pressurized all the responsible parties to solve concerns.”
