The police is investigating a pair of separate firing in Hamilton over the weekend.
Officials say the first shooting took place on Saturday at around 7:30 pm Hormony Avenue and Barton Street East.
Hamilton police said in a news release, “A vehicle going west on Barton was shot by two suspects on foot.” “The suspects fled to the south and the victim went to a nearby mall to call the police.”
“Preliminary evidence indicates that the incident may be targeted,” police said. “A person was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.”
The next morning, the police were called to a party in a short -term fare asset at the concessional Road 6 West in Flamboro for the shooting report.
Police said, “A person suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital.”
No suspect or vehicle details were provided.
Investigators are asking the public to review any surveillance or dash camera footage for suspicious activity.
