Ontario Provincial Police states that an 18 -year -old driver was caught more than two times the speed limit at Queen Elizabeth Way (Quv) in Okville.
In a post on social media, the police say that the driver was caught going to 214 km/h, where the speed range posted is 100 km/h at Qw.
Officials say the driver was using his father’s car, and he allegedly tried to run the officer when he tried to stop him.
The police did not identify the driver, but said that he was accused of stunt driving, in which the license suspension and the vehicle were deployed for 14 days.
