A police officer in Mississaga was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries after being killed by a motorcycle driver in the alleged hit-run.
According to Peel Regional Police, there was a collision between a motorcycle and a marked police cruiser near the intersection of Erin Mills Parkway and Aglinton Avenue.
The rider hit a police officer and remained extensively before descending from the scene.
The officer is expected to survive.
No other details were released.
