Srinagar, July 1: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha presided over a high-level meeting with senior officials today and reviewed the final preparations for the Amarnath Yatra.
The Lieutenant Governor made extensive reviews of traffic and security management and all the arrangements for the smooth, safe and hassle -free pilgrimage by stakeholders departments.
The Lieutenant Governor instructed the authorities for the widespread publicity of the traffic advisor so that the common man does not inconvenience. He said that the district administration, SSP, traffic police and stakeholders departments should work in close coordination to ensure the movement of pilgrims in the nominated convoys and smooth implementation of traffic schemes.
He further instructed the deputy commissioners to ensure that the logant center and sanitation units are in good condition.
