Minister of Health and Medical Education, Minister of Social Welfare and Education, Sekena Itu today visited Skims Sora and Super Specialty Hospital Srinagar and took stock of medical care facilities available to the patients.
While visiting Super Specialty Hospital Srinagar, the minister visited several departments of the facility including cardiology, nephrology, oncology and other important care units. He had a direct conversation with patients and their hostesses to understand his experiences and collect feedback about the treatment and quality of services available in the hospital.
Later, the minister also visited Skims Sora and reviewed the medical care facilities available in this prestigious institute. He inspected various sections of the hospital and reviewed the medical care facilities available in the convenience.
The minister urged hospital officials to ensure timely treatment, well-organized procedures and patient-focused care for patients coming from various distant areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
He also interacted with the patients and their attendants and took a detailed response from them about the services available in this feature.
While interacting with him, the minister assured him that the government is focusing on increasing medical care facilities in rural areas to get access to his views.
