Police started investigating in Kneecap and Bob Vylan Glastonbury demonstrations

Police have said that the demonstrations of Bob Vikal and Cancap at the Glstonbury Festival are now subject to a criminal investigation.

Avon and Summerset Police said that both demonstrations have been recorded as a public order incident.

The force said in a statement: “It is currently recorded as a public order incident, while our inquiry is in an early stage.

“Investigation will be evidence-lodged and will closely consider all the appropriate laws, including the crimes of hatred.

“We have got a large amount of contact with people around the world regarding these events and recognize the strength of public spirit. There is no place in society for hatred.”

Bal said, “We politely ask the public to continue the matter that an investigation is already being done.”
