Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), GN ITOO, said on Sunday that no private coaching center will be allowed to work without proper registration.
According to KNS, Itu said that the department has given a month limit of one month for all coaching centers to complete the registration or renewal process.
He said, “Each group or individual plan must register with the department to run the coaching center. Registration ensures student safety and includes 10% seat reservation for qualified students,” he said.
He said that while many centers were earlier registered, all will now have to renew their registration according to the latest instructions.
ITOO also clarified that no coaching center would be allowed to function regularly during school hours.
“The main objective of registration is to ensure compliance with the guidelines prescribed by the Department of Students Safety and School Education,” he said. (KNS)
