Srinagar, June 28: In another decisive action to eliminate the infrastructure against the threat of drugs in the society and supporting the network of illegal drugs, Srinagar Police has attached a residential property-A two-storey house with the land with a land with a two-storey house as well as a notorious drug Paler Nemali Bilal Ahmad Wandon for about 50 lakh rupees. Under the provisions of Ahmed Wani R/O Sargufwara, Anantnag, drugs and psychotropic substances (NDP) Act.
The accused person is included in the case of FIR number 05/2025 under section 8/20, 29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Shaheed Gunj.
The said property has been acquired through the income of illegal drug smuggling. While working under sections 68-E and 68-F of the NDPS Act, real estate is formally confiscated and attached.
The said property has been attached according to the appropriate process under the law.
The said property will not be sold, transferred, or otherwise dealt with without prior permission from the competent authority.
The accused person has a history of drug pedaling and was actively involved in the supply of narcotics, especially targeting local youth, pose a serious threat to public health and safety.
This action is part of the continuous action of J&K police on drug trafficking networks.
By targeting and destroying the financial infrastructure of such a network, the police aim to prevent the spread of drugs and protect the community.
