No student or teacher will be forced to go to school during summer vacation: DSEK

As a complaint about many private schools, teachers and students were forced to attend the school during the ongoing summer breaks, the Director School Education Kashmir on Thursday warned them to take action according to the law, if such practice was not stopped with immedia.

According to the circular issued here, DSEK said, “It has come in the notice of this directorate that some private schools are asking students and teachers to go to school during the summer holiday period on one or the other excuse.

This practice is a serious violation of installed norms and guidelines, and it reduces the great purpose of these essential pause. Therefore, in view of the above, all recognized private schools are directed to ensure that no student or teacher will be forced to go to school or will participate in any academic or textual activities during the officially announced summer vacation period.

Any deviation from these circular instructions will be seen seriously and action will be invited according to the law, the circular will be added.
