India will not hesitate to target the epic of terrorism: Defense Minister in SCO meat in China

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday stood against terrorism against India’s firm while addressing a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) ministers in Kingdao, China.

Repeating India’s inconsistent approach, Singh said, “India’s zero tolerance for terrorism is manifested today through its actions. This involves our right to defend itself against terrorism. We have shown that the epithelium of terrorism is no longer safe and we will not hesitate to target them,” Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said in the meeting of the Defense Ministers.

On the attitude of this firm, Singh emphasized the increasing need to address the roots of extremism, especially among the youth. Highlighting the importance of fanatism, Singh said, “We should take active steps to prevent the spread of bigotry among our youth. SCO’s mechanisms have played an important role in this regard. He also insisted that nations supporting terrorism should be held accountable. “It is necessary that people who sponsor, nourish and use terrorism for their narrow and selfish loops should bear the results. Some countries use cross-border terrorism as a means of policy and give shelter to terrorists. There should be no place for such double standards. SCOs should not have any place to criticize such countries.”

Reiterating India’s situation, Singh said, “India’s zero tolerance for terrorism is manifested through its actions today. This includes our right to defend itself against terrorism. We have shown that the sub -center of terrorism is no longer safe and we will not hesitate to target them.”

Referring to a recent terrorist incident in Jammu and Kashmir, Singh said 26 innocent citizens, including a Nepali citizen, were killed in a cruel attack by ‘The Resistance Front’ (TRF) on 22 April 2025.

“On 22 April 2025, the terrorist group ‘The Resistance Front’ (TRF) launched an intoxicated and heinous attack on innocent tourists in Pahgam in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. 26 innocent citizens, including a Nepali national. Lashkar-e-Taiba (late) claimed responsibility for the attack.”

Singh said that this attack followed the pattern seen in the operation of the past. In response, India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, 2025 to eliminate Cross-Border Terror Infrastructure.

“Lats in India are the pattern of Pahalgam Terror Attack Match with previous terrorist attacks. India successfully launched OP Sindoor to end the border terrorist weaving on 07 May 2025 as well as exercise its right to defend against terrorism and pre-Khali.

Calling for United Global Condemnation, Singh said, “We repeat the need to capture criminals, organizers, financers and sponsors of terrorism condemnable acts of terrorism, in which cross border is accountable including terrorism and brings them to do justice. No work of terrorism is unaware of their inspiration even without any care for their inspiration.

The meeting of SCO Defense Ministers is being held from 25 June to 26 June in Kingdao, which brings together the defense leaders of member states including India, China, Russia and several Central Asian countries to discuss issues related to regional and international peace and security.

The SCO established in 2001 is an inter -governmental organization aimed at promoting regional stability and security through cooperation and dialogue. India became a full member in 2017 and organized a rotation chairmanship in 2023. China has given the chair for 2025 under the theme ‘Shanghai Spirit: Sco on the Move’. (AI)
