A married couple has been jailed for attempting to kill the husband’s stepmother’s stepmother, an attack was carried out with a hammer and a knife while wearing an animal mask purchased Pounder,
21 -year -old Vasif Hussain and his wife Nabella Tabassum, 19, were sentenced Birmingham Crown Court On Friday to attempt to kill Arifa Nazmin at Kings Norton, BirminghamOn the evening of 29 January last year.

Both Hussain and Tabasum of Midharst Road, Kings Norton denied the attempt to murder, but were convicted by a jury in March. Hussain was sentenced to 15 years in jail, while Tabsum was sentenced to nine years in jail.
Mrs. Nazmin complained to Tabasum’s parents that she did not help around the house, with the couple’s “outrage and anger” to her, told to the court.

Prosecutor Rob Forest told the court: “It was a planned attempt to kill Mrs. Nazmin in her house.
“The attack took place against the background of broken family ties.”
The couple married the sentenced hearing in December 2023 and the couple got married and the attack took place within a week of Hussain’s family.
