We want to boil things hard facts and things that we can see.
The problem is that the Bible tells a very different story.
In fact, Ephesians 6:12 very specially tells us that the real fight is not against other humans and this is not what we can see with our own eyes:
Because we wrestle not against meat and blood, but against the princely states, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
so what to do?
Answer is worship.
Do you know how the Lord Almighty fought the most in the Bible?
This is true.
Do you know that whenever Yhwh instructed Israel to fight a battle, he would ask them to send the worshipers in the front lines?
It has no meaning.
Are you going to send a man with a flute and have a man with a guitar on the most dangerous front line?
No shield. No sword. no weapons.
This is true.
See 2 Chronicles 21-24:
21 After consulting people, The king appointed the singer to walk ahead of the army, singing the Lord and praised him for his sacred splendor. This is what he has sung:
