The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Monday, demanding immediate intervention for the evacuation of hundreds of Kashmiri students trapped in Iran amid the rapid struggle between Iran and Israel.

In a detailed and immediate letter, the association expressed serious concern over Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and pre -Israel -Hawai air strikes and Iran’s anti -retaliation missiles and post -barrages after the subsequent barrage. The association warned that the region now stood on the verge of war on a full -scale war, except Indian students, especially the people of Jammu and Kashmir, frightened, helpless and dangerous.

The unstable environment has left thousands of Indian students, who are majority from the Kashmir Valley, which is at risk of immediate damage. These students traveled to Iran to pursue vocational education, especially MBBS degrees due to the country’s economically viable educational infrastructure. Now, they find themselves trapped in the middle of a high-intensity military conflict, are afraid of their lives and not in a clear way.

The national convenor of the association, Nasir Khouhmi, said many students are nominated in colleges and universities which are located closely to major military establishments and strategic goals. Students have reported to listen to the siren of the air strike, experience shock and observe acute military activity in their environment. He said that the situation has deteriorated rapidly since last night, and some students are also in cities where direct Israeli air strikes have already taken place.

The letter highlights a deep worrisome incident on Sunday evening, when there was an attack near the boys’ hostel for international students at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (Huzatostostost Dermitter). Two Indian students of Kashmir Valley were injured in the incident. Fortunately, both students are now stable and are being transferred by university officials to a safe village in Ramsar.

A parent said to us,” People of many countries have left, but our children are there. Nobody is asking about us. We feel. “

Such action will give hundreds of distressed families very important relief and assurance to return home, especially in Kashmir.

Khoomi said that the government should also prepare and activate a comprehensive withdrawal plan in anticipation of deteriorating the situation. “If the significant infrastructure comes under a constant attack or the airplane suddenly stops, timely withdrawal can mean the difference between life and death,” he said.
