A student has described the “miracle” to remember Air India flight that has crashed, Kill 241 people on board.
28 -year -old Bhoomi Chauhan said that she was angry and disappointed after a traffic jam on the way to the airport, which meant that she missed riding in a flight for just ten minutes.
Ms. Chauhan, a student of business administration living in Bristol, said that she was removed by the airport employees.
He told the BBC: “We were very angry with our driver and left the airport in frustration. I was very disappointed. We got out of the airport and stood in a place to drink tea and after leaving, before leaving … We were talking to the travel agent about how to get the refund for the ticket. There, I got a call that the plane went down”.
He said that it was “a miracle for me completely”. Air India flight soon crashed on Thursday after flying to London Gatwick, which fell into a densely populated residential area near Ahmedabad Airport. Ms. Chauhan said that she reached the airport at 12:20 pm local time, ten minutes after people set to fly. She told reporters that she had traveled from Augleshwar – about 125 miles south of Ahmedabad.
She said that she was “uninhabited” after flying and was angry that she did not start the journey to the airport earlier.
Ms. Chauhan said that when she came to know that the flight had crashed, it was “completely numb”, the local media told. Her mother allegedly attributed the existence of Ms. Chauhan to the blessings of Mother Goddess, told reporters: “We thank Mother Devi for protecting our daughter.”
The Civil Aviation Minister of India has said that now a black box has been found on the site of Air India Plain Crash. The flight data recorder will expect why the aircraft crashed for less than 60 seconds after the take-off.
India’s aircraft accident bureau is leading the investigation, helped by teams in the US and Britain. Air India has said that there were 169 Indian citizens, 53 Britain, seven Portuguese citizens and a Canadian in aircraft.
