Police are allegedly involving dozens of youth in Elford with “serious disorder”.
The Greater Manchester Police said that it had ordered a spread on Lower Borton Road after the disorder on Wednesday afternoon.

Force added in a statement: “The behavior of this nature will not be tolerated and we will answer accordingly.”
A witness told Manchester Evening News that about 50-60 teenagers and young people are “hanging goals” at the scene. He said that many bricks and stone are scattered across the road and the scene is described as “very intense”.
He said: “There is a fiat 500 that has been completely destroyed. These are windows.
“Police is here, but they are walking around at this time. On a rough estimate I would say that about 50-60 people are hanging, but a lot of residents are also coming out.”
