Officials said a body of a person missing near Ahrabal waterfall in Kulgam district of South Kashmir was recovered this morning.
An official told the news agency -Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the person had gone missing near Ahbal fall during an outing on Sunday.
He said that after the incident, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was suppressed in service to retrieve the body.
“After the intensive search operation, the SDRF recovered the body this morning and later handed it over to the police for Medico-legal formalities,” he said.
The deceased has been identified as Wasim Ahmed Malik (33).
