Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Aza, who wish them peace, welfare and prosperity.
In his message on Eid-ul-ul-today’s eve, the Chief Minister said that holy opportunity is a sense of making us a way of life, honesty, truth and selflessness.
He said that the festival remembers the entire belief and unwavering obedience set by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his dedicated son Prophet Ismail (AS).
“Eid-ul-Azha is not only a celebration of belief, but also reminds me of presenting full sacrifice and fulfilling for the desire of omnipotent. The unbreakable trust shown by Prophet Ibrahim (as) and the Prophet Ismail’s willing obedience (eg) teach us the essence of sewing, God,”
He hoped that this auspicious occasion would further strengthen the bond of communal harmony, mutual brotherhood, harmony and peace throughout the region.
The Chief Minister also prayed for continuous peace, harmony and progress in Jammu and Kashmir.
