BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh met the BJP candidate for the upcoming Ludhiana West Bapol, Jeevana Gupta on Sunday, and gave the voters a phone to highlight the dramatic functions of the AAP government.
Speaking to the media, Chugh said that the upcoming Bipol is a litmus test for Punjab, currently suffering under the chaotic and directionless regime of AAP. “Punjab is facing a serious law and order crisis and due to completion of financial mismanagement, the state is running again under loans of more than 4 lakh crores,” Chugh said.
He said that Ludhiana, once seen as the industrial capital of India, is now struggling with lack of infrastructure, increase in organized crime and misuse of large -scale drugs. Investors are fleeing in other states, while the youth of Punjab feel cheated by AAP’s jobs and empty promises of prosperity.
Chugh hit Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, he was called a puppet in the hands of Arvind Kejriwal and a puppet in the hands of his unsuccessful, on-bell associates. “Like the people of Delhi rejected Kejriwal, the people of Punjab will do the same with Bhigwant Mann in 2027,” he said.
Jeevan Gupta thanked the party’s leadership for handing over him with the occasion and said that he was hopeful and firm. He said that the trade community in Punjab is suffering under the Maan regime due to the absence of a clear, consistent industrial policy.
He assured that with public support, he would raise every voice that AAP has shut down in Punjab.
