“India is a peace-loving country, we want peace”: Lop Sunil Sharma

Saying that India is a “peace-loving” country, Leader of the Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and senior BJP leader Sunil Sharma said on Sunday that the entire country saw the courage and valor of the Indian Army in Operation Sindoor launched by the Indian Armed Forces in response to the deadly Pavalgam terror attack on 22 April.

“Maan Ki Baat program is heard in different parts of the country. This program is the beginning of a new revolution in the country. People of day-to-day people, especially youth, are joining it. Our state presidents were also present here today, we heard the butt program of Maan at this booth in Srinagar. PM Modi’s ‘Maan Ki Baat’ program,

Sharma also mentioned the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives, most of the tourists.

Sharma further said, “Currently, our economy is growing very fast … Pakistan is falling day by day, it is an uncontrolled country, it does not want India to progress so fast … What happened on April 22 was a conspiracy to stop India’s rapid progress, we are a peace -loving country, we are not a loving country, we do not want to the cost of our citizens.”

Talking to ANI, BJP spokesperson and chairperson of Jammu -Kashmir Waqf Board, Darkhshan Andrabi said, “Prime Minister Modi started everywhere starting from Jammu and Kashmir, where Operation Sindoor was glorified with the tricolor in the hands of all.”

At his 122nd address, PM Modi, while highlighting the valor of the armed forces during Operation Sindoor, said that the whole country is united against terrorism and is full of anger and resolve. He mentioned developmental steps in Maoist areas such as Bastar and Gadchiroli regions of Maharashtra in Chhattisgarh.

Operation Sindoor, on May 7, began after the initiative terrorist attack, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians, demonstrated a reaction of a calibrated three-services, which refused accurate, professionalism and purpose. (AI)
