Waqf Board Chairperson Thanks LG Sinha for support

The Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, Dr. Darkshan Andrabi on Saturday expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha during his visit to the Hazratbal pilgrimage site, where he laid the foundation stone for a new guest house.

Calling this moment as emotional and historical, Dr. Addressing the gathering according to the news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Andraby said, “LG Sinha’s continuous support and blessings were possible.

He said, “I want to thank LG Saheb for coming here today. When we started the Waqf Board in 2022, it was a difficult journey, but his guidance helped us further every step,” he said.

Dr. Andraby described the upcoming guest house as the “first step” of the board for development. He said, “We feel honored and competent today because of the love and support we have received. We cannot be here tomorrow, but we are grateful to the opportunity to do something meaningful today,” he said.

He further said that the Waqf Board is firm to continue working for the welfare of the people and the development of religious places. “The project is just beginning in Hazratbal,” he said.
