The detectives are appealing for information after a deadly collision at 8:20 pm on Thursday night as they try to “give” the boys’ families “to answer”.

Greater Manchester Police Said that the teenagers – were aged 16 and 17 – they are believed to be riding on the same motorbike when they hit a car.

Police said they were trying to move from Lower Borton Road to Clarence Street, when they collided with Silver Vaxhall Viva, police said.

Emergency services reached the spot but the boys were later declared dead in the hospital.

Police said the 24 -year -old woman who was driving a car involved in the accident stayed at the scene to help the officials and there was no arrest.

According to the force, the families of two boys are receiving the support of expert officers and detectives.

In Salaford, there was a matter of grief on social media from community members, in which boys were told as “touching so many hearts”.

Detective Sergeant Matt Wagate said: “This is a heart -breaking and disturbing event where two youths have lost their lives and have lost their lives with their families.

“Our investigation is going on, so we can give them the answers they deserve.

“This is still an active inquiry, and we are looking for anyone who has any information about the incident of coming forward and coming in contact with us.”
