“His dream of developed, harmonious nation inspires us: Dr. Audil Farooq remembered former PM Rajiv Gandhi on the anniversary of his death

Web Desk, 21/05/2025

Congress leader and media coordinator for Kashmir, Dr. Audil Farooq Mir Laszan today paid tribute to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on the anniversary of his 34th death.

In a post on X, Dr. Audil wrote, “Recalling Shri Rajiv Gandhi, whose life was tragically cut down by a heinous work of terrorism decades ago. Nevertheless, with the passage of time, his legacy shines at any time.”

“A huge politician and visionary long before their era, he ignited India’s march towards modernization and technological advancement, empowering an entire generation with hope and opportunity.” He said.

“His highest sacrifice was not just a national tragedy – it marked a deep twist in our country’s journey. His martyrdom is a serious reminder of the price of leadership and united, his unwavering commitment to the progressive India.” Dr. Audil wrote in a post.

He further wrote in a post, “His dream of a developed, harmonious nation inspires us. We also pay tribute to the victims of terrorism in Pahgam, including the ambassador of Kashmirit Syed Adil Hussain Shah, who sacrificed their lives while saving tourists!”

He said, “We pay tribute to all the forces that fight the country and fight terrorism during the day. We all give our prayers and support to the countrymen of the border region who come under the crossfire, while across the border”.
