Em Jaishankar is engaged in the Netherlands with strategic experts, emphasizing the relations of the strong India-European Union

Jaishankar of Foreign Minister (EAM) discussed with strategic experts in Hague on Monday during his visit to the Netherlands, focusing on the need to deepen the relations of India-Nearland and India-European Union in an era defined by multi-polarity and strategic autonomy.

Sharing a post on X, Jaishankar wrote, “A good exchange of ideas with strategic experts in Hague this morning was discussed why India and the Netherlands/European Union should engage more deeply in the era of multi-polarity and strategic autonomy.”

Eam Jaishankar arrived in the Netherlands on Monday to discuss with the leadership of the country.

According to a statement by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Eam Jaishankar is on an official visit to the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany from May 19 to 24.

During the journey, EAM will meet with the leadership of three countries and discuss the entire range of bilateral relations.

Global and regional matters of mutual interest will also be discussed.

After Eam Jaishankar’s visit to Germany, Frederick Merz took over as the new federal Chancellor of Germany earlier this month.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted Frederick Merz and expressed his curiosity to work with Chancellor Merz to further strengthen India-Germany Strategic Partnership.

In view of the Pahgam terror attack in Nathkhana, the three countries were a part of many countries around the world who expressed solidarity with India.

Danish Prime Minister, Mette Frederricasen supported India and condemned all acts of terrorism. He expressed condolences to the victims of the attack and their families.

India shares warm and friendly relations with three countries. The relationship between India and Denmark is based on historical links, general democratic traditions and a shared desire for regional and international peace and stability. The current development of new India-Denmark relations is directed by the “Green Strategic Partnership”, the MEA said.

Diplomatic relations between India and the Netherlands are more than 75 years old. According to Mea, the two countries enjoy strong political, economic and commercial relations. High-level mutual exchange has inspired the versatile partnership between the two countries. (AI)
