Baramulla, May 19, KDC: In a crack on immoral activities, Baramulla police on Sunday busted a sex trafficking racket operating in Barzulla area of Kunjar in North Kashmir. Acting on a specific and reliable input, a team of police station Kunjar conducted a fast and coordinated raids, arresting four persons in the racket.
According to the police, the arrested persons have now been identified as Ahad Vaja, son of Khalik Vaja, who is the son of Uoticu Sheikhapora, Mohammad Abdullah Vaja, Ghulam Mohiuddin Vaja’s son, who is the son of Barzulla Kunjar, Bilal Ahmed Bhat. (Withdraw the identity)
A case under FIR No. 37/2025 has been registered under Section 3, 4 and 5 immoral traffic (prevention) Act (PITA) in police station Kunjar. Police said that further investigation is going on to detect and destroy any comprehensive network associated with the racket.
The Baramulla police reiterated their resolve to do strict work against all forms of social evils and appealed to the public to be vigilant and report any suspect or illegally. (KDC)
