The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the class 10th exam result on Tuesday. A total of 93.66 % of the students passed the exam, which was 0.06 % higher than the previous year.
95 % of girls passed CBSE class 10th exam, which was 2.37 % higher than boys. CBSE released a press release and informed about development. 22,388,27 students appeared for the examinations, out of which 20,95,467 students passed.
Thiruvananthapuram achieved the highest passing percentage on the basis of the region, with 99.70 % of the students passing the exam, while Guwahati in Assam was placed below, with 84.14 % of the students appearing in the examination.
CBSE class 10th exam was held between 15 February to 18 March.
Earlier, CBSE released class 12th results, with 88.39 percent of the students passed the examinations, which was 0.41 % higher than the previous year.

Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh won the highest passing percentage in the region, with 99.60 % of the students who appeared while passing the examination. Prevention was standing down in which about 80 percent of the students passed the examination.
More than 16 lakh students appeared for CBSE class 12th examinations, out of which more than 14 lakh examinations were passed.
CBSE class 10th 2025 examinations were conducted in 7837 centers in 26675 schools.
The exam was conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm at 7,842 centers in India and 26 places abroad. CBSE has issued strict guidelines to maintain the integrity of the examination. Regular students were asked for school uniforms, while private candidates were asked to opt for light colored clothing.
Students were scheduled to reach the examination center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time and read the question paper instructions carefully before responding.
The board has also listed prohibited items inside the examination hall, including mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, smartwatches, cameras, unauthorized study materials, wallets, handbags, glasses and pouches.
