At least 21 people, including many children, were killed on Saturday in Israeli attacks in the attacks of Gaza Strip amidst a one -month long Israeli blockade, which has deepened the human crisis in the war -torn coastal enclave, according to Al Jazira.
Four Palestinians were killed and others were injured on Saturday evening, when an Israeli air strike targeted a tent-shelter displaced families at Dir al-Balah in the Central Gaza Strip.
Earlier, Palestinian news agency Wafa said that Israeli war planes bombed a tent in Sabra neighborhood of Gaza city on Saturday morning, killing five members of the TLIB family.
In parallel, a drone attack on the tafa neighborhood of Gaza City left the death of six people and in Sheikh Redwan area of another city where Israel, according to Al Jazira, bombed an apartment related to the Zakuout family.
From March 2, there were attacks amidst the continuous refusal of Israel to allow significant supply to Gaza, depending on the declining number of charity kitchens to 2.3 million inhabitants of the enclave, which are closing in recent times, as the food comes out according to Al Jazeera.
Amid the charity shuttering operations, the US -based World Central Kitchen said on Wednesday that it was forced to shut down as it no longer supplied to bake bread or cook food.
The United Nations office appealed for the blockade for coordination of human affairs. “Children are dying of hunger, and dying. Community kitchens are closed. Clean water is running out,” it said in a post on X on Friday.
The blockade is also having disastrous effects on people with chronic diseases, depriving Palestinians who suffer from diabetes, cancer and rare conditions, life -saving medicine.
On Friday, the United States said it was setting up the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation to provide assistance in Gaza, in which Israel had provided military security for operations. The United Nations rejected the move, saying that it would violate the principles of neutrality, according to Al Jazeera and would cause mass displacement. (AI)
