Prominent Cleric Maulana Mubarak Mubarki Passes Away

Famous Islamic scholar and preacher, Maulana Mubarak Mubarki, president of Bazam-e-Touhid and President of Khatab of Bazar Mosque, died on Friday, leaving behind Vishwas, Ekta and Seva’s legacy.

His intelligence, humility and deepest commitment to Islamic teachings are known, Maulana Mubarki touched countless lives through his teachings and religious guidance.

One of his family members told the news agency -Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that his funeral would take place in two parts – first at 2:30 pm at his residence in Sanat Nagar, and later at 4 pm at Bohri Kadal Chowk near Bazaar Mosque.

He said that Mirwaiz Umar Farooq is expected to pray for the funeral in the market mosque.

Meanwhile, Mirwaiz Dr. Omar Farooq also expressed deep grief over his death, calling it a personal loss.

“A few weeks ago, I met him to inquire about his health. Despite his fraud, he recognized me and spoke with warmth and clarity. His death is a misfortune for Kashmir,” he said- (KNO)
