WhatsApp has also introduced the ability to send an entire sticker pack instead of personally sharing each sticker.
Custom sticker pack on WhatsApp
WhatsApp was first Informed To test the ability to make a custom sticker pack in October 2024. Earlier this year, this feature was rolled out for WhatsApp beta. Android User but only the people registered through the Google Play Beta program were accessible, but not more.
With the latest updates, the custom sticker pack feature is available on both WhatsApp for Android and iOS platforms. This eliminates the need to use the third-party application to create a custom sticker pack.
Announcement of feature rollout, instant messaging platform Said“Now you can make your own sticker pack and share them directly in your chat, so your friends and family can all use their custom stickers to express yourself.” On WhatsApp, a new pencil icon now appears in a sticker sheet with GIF, avatar and sticker options.
To make a custom sticker pack:
- Open sticker
- Tap on pencil icon
- Select the sticker you want to add
- Select the three-dot option in the lower-left corner of the screen
- Choose Ad to Sticker Pack Options
Users can set the folder name and the custom pack will appear with other saved stickers on WhatsApp. While they can send a personal sticker to others, there is another option that sends the entire sticker pack as bulk. Gadget 360 staff members were able to confirm that this feature is live for Android and both IOS Platform.
However, it appears that only stickers created by users can be saved in a custom sticker pack. It does not work for people created by instant messaging platforms.
