Piyush Goyal Starlink meets the delegation, discusses investment plans for India


New Delhi:

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal met a delegation from Elon Musk -owned satellite Internet Services Starlink. The Starlink delegation included Vice President Chad Gibbs and Senior Director Ryan Goodnight.

Minister Goyal wrote on X after the meeting, “Discussions covered Starlink’s state -of -the -art technology forum, his current participation in India and future investment plans.”

Recently, Airtel and Jio have partnered with Starlinks to bring high -speed satellite internet services to their customers in India.

Satellite telecom in India will help the country provide very important services at remote internal places where traditional telecom services are expensive.

Starlink’s entry into India recently obtained currency, in which Donald Trump won the US President for a second term. Elon Musk is a close associate of President Trump.

According to its website, Starlink is the world’s first and largest satellite constellation, which is using a low Earth orbit to use broadband internet, capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, video calls and more.

Starlink provides high speed, low-opinion internet to users around the world. Starlink says its satellites are constantly updated with the latest technology.
