There is no change in demand from India in 2 months, demand for supply: salesforce

A top official said on Tuesday that Mumbai, April 15 (PTI) Customer Relationship Management-firm Salesforce has not seen any change in customer behavior in the last two months.

Country is in the “prevalent period” of high hunger for technology, its executive vice -president Arun Kumar Parmeswaran told reporters here.

He said, “From a demand perspective in India, we have not seen any part of the demand. I have never seen such a long period (high demand). Whatever we do in the market goes far ahead of the supply supply,” he said.

In the last two months, while answering a specific question on demand, which has seen increased concerns over tariff wars, he said that there is no change.

“So far, there is no change (there).

In addition, he said that at the time of uncertainty, customers will become sensible about returns that they get from expenses but will not cut the expenditure.

The company’s president and chief executive officer Arundhati Bhattacharya said that no company is cutting innovation spending and said that making a business sustainable is the highest priority at a time that they rely on technology.

The company saw a 40 percent increase in its topline 9,116 crore in FY24. Currently, it has 13,000 people working in six offices in India.

Parmeswaran said that only areas that are deeply affected by possible changes in tariffs are those that may be slightly more attentive to expenses.

Air India Chief Digital and Technology Officer Satya Ramaswamy said that Tata -owned carrier is not looking to cut technology expenses and it can look at the same to increase the same.

Salesforce announced on Tuesday that Air India has adopted its ‘agentforce’ solution to automate customer service processes.

The company also stated that a survey that includes 100 software development leaders, stated that 92 percent of the respondents believe that the AI ​​agents would be required for the app development as a traditional software tool.
