Arun Jain, 11/04/2025

Greenpeace activists on Thursday (April 10) put 300 liters of blood-red dye in a pond in the US embassy in London, opposed the ongoing war in Gaza. Will McCallum, head of the UK of the Environment Campaign Group, arrived at the embassy with his group, who was disguised as delivery riders on bikes.

According to the video clip going viral on social media, the protesters “stopped stopping Israel” with the label, which they dumped into the pond. Law enforcement agencies quickly responded and arrested Mr. Callum and his colleagues on suspicion of conspiracy to cause criminal damage, who serve a maximum 10 -year jail sentence.

Greenpeace said, “With all our protests, it was carefully planned by a highly trained workers and employees, all safety and security risks were considered and reduced.” statement,

“Red Dye exposes death and destruction in Gaza, which is as a direct result of America ‘continuous sales of weapons, ammunition and military hardware for Israel.”

Greenpeace UK co-executing director Abba Hamid said that the dye was biodegradable, while defending the barbarity, saying that it was a clear message for the US to stop stopping Israel.

He said, “We took this action because American weapons continue a indiscriminate war, seen that the bombs have been dropped on schools and hospitals, the entire neighborhood has exploded the debris, and destroyed thousands of Palestinian life,” he said in a statement.
