Why the plot failed

Rana, a former cadet and a trained medical professional in the Pakistani Army, later moved to Canada. There he obtained citizenship before settling in Chicago.

The codename ‘Mickey Mouse Project’ was used by Headley and Rana to mask the gravity of their intentions. However, the plot never reached execution. Headley was arrested in October 2009, stopping the attack from being excluded. He later bargained a petition with US prosecutors, not only in the Danish plot but also his role in scouting places for the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
