In the lead roles, Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor starrer Lavavpa has ended their early week. Himesh Reshammiya’s crook was released with Ravi Kumar, the film emerged as a loser in Clash and very soon, it will be out of theaters. After a slow start, it was expected to show some speed due to its merits, but sadly it has failed badly. In the first 7 days, it has not even touched a mark of 10 million at the Indian box office.

Another big failure of Bollywood newbies!

Last month, Azad marked Rasha Thadani and Aman Devgan’s big screen debut. Since Ajay Devgan was also shown in an extended cameo in the film, it was expected to do well well. However, it turned out to be a disastrous case at the Indian box office, wrapped below the 10 million mark. After the initial week, it was almost out of theaters and finished its run on only 7.61 crore nets.

Both Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor have already started in films with Maharaj and The Archies, but both these films were released on OTT. So, with Lvavpa, this was the beginning of his big screen. Since the reviews were decent, the film was expected to acquire a decent amount, but now, it is going to the same luck as Azad.

LOVEYAPA at Indian box office

Loveyapa Opened for just 1.25 crores. After that, it failed to show any major improvement over the weekend and earned only 4.75 crores. In the week of the week, the film fell badly and stopped in 60–30 lakh range. Overall, it has wrapped its early week by earning a disappointing week. 6.69 crores* Net at Indian box office.
