India skipper is overjoyed after winning series, opens up about praising the player

Web Desk, 30/10/202430/10/2024

Indian women’s cricket team: The Indian team performed poorly in the recently held Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Thereafter, the Indian team performed strongly against New Zealand and won 2-1. In the third ODI, India defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets. New Zealand, who batted first, scored 232 runs and with Smriti Mandana’s century score, India easily caught up with the target. After the match, India captain Harmanpreet Kaur expressed his appreciation for Mandana.

Want to win the series at any cost: Harmanpreet Kaur

“This is important for us because we want to win this series at any cost,” India captain Harmanpreet Kaul said at the post-match press conference. As I said in the morning, we discussed a lot of things and I’m happy to be able to make this happen today. Whenever we play, we want to give 100%, but sometimes things don’t go your way.

Praise for Smriti Mandana

The Indian captain said that as a professional cricketer, you have to keep pushing yourself and keep moving forward. We discussed these things in team meetings, so I’m happy that we were able to bounce back from the loss in the last game. I want to thank Smriti. She struggled at first, but she managed to score. Very happy with our partnership. He said the team needs to work harder to become the best defensive team in the world.

Mandhana scored an innings of 100 runs

It was because of Smriti Mandana that the Indian team managed to win the match. She has become India’s highest scorer in ODIs. She broke Mithali Raj’s record. Mandana has been recorded for 8 centuries. Mithali has scored 7 centuries. Mandana scored 100 runs off 122 balls in the third ODI.
