Medical student from Andhra dies in frozen waterfall in Kyrgyzstan

A 20-year-old medical student from Andhra Pradesh died after getting trapped in a frozen waterfall in Kyrgyzstan. The student went to the falls along with four other students, who were also from Andhra Pradesh.

According to reports, the student, Dasari Chandu, was a second-year medicine student in Kyrgyzstan and died after getting trapped in the ice of the waterfall.

Dasari hailed from Anakapalle in Visakhapatnam and her father runs a sweet shop.

He accidentally got trapped in a frozen waterfall in Kyrgyzstan on Sunday.

Chandu’s family approached Union Minister G Kishan Reddy for help in repatriating their son’s remains. Reddy contacted the authorities in Kyrgyzstan and the process of repatriating Chandu’s body to India is underway.
