die in heaven Fans recently cracked the code on the new lead detective to find Ralf Little’s replacement in the BBC show.

According to fans’ speculation, they predict that this is Dr. Martin Star John Marquez could be a potential candidate for the role.

John, who starred as Tom Lewis in two episodes of the BBC detective drama in 2017, may return in a new role.

Despite his character’s untimely death on the show, fans believe the actor could be a perfect fit to fill Ralph Little’s shoes.

according to Mirror, One fan speculated: “I think John Marquez, who played Officer Joe Penhal in Doc, would be great as the new Detective Inspector.”

A second chimed in: “There’s no way he can be the new DI because he was killed in Death in Paradise Episode 6 ‘Man Overboard’.”

Meanwhile, a third quipped: “You guys obviously never watch the soap opera. There’s always a way for them to come back as a different character or avoid the resemblance to the previous deceased character.”

For those unfamiliar, Ralph bid farewell to the show in a roller-coaster of events near the end of the series, “hand in hand” with Josephine Jobert’s Florence Cassel left.

However, the producers have yet to comment on the matter, leaving a lot of room for doubt.
