In a recent interaction, India captain Rohit Sharma was asked about Dhoni and Karthik’s situation and the chances of these veterans boarding a flight to the United States.

Rohit joked that while Dhoni is “sick and tired”, Karthik could be a good option for the team

“I was very impressed, especially by Dinesh Karthik. The way he batted the first few nights (against SRH). The same goes for Dhoni. He batted against us Four balls and a huge impact in those 20 runs that ended up being the difference,” Rohit said on the Club Prairie Fire podcast.
