According to text accompanying the video, the event marked New Jersey’s strongest earthquake since a 5.2-magnitude earthquake in 1884, and no damage was reported.

Meanwhile, New Jersey was hit by a 4.0-magnitude aftershock on Friday. Gov. Phil Murphy called on residents to follow emergency protocols. “New Jersey just experienced an aftershock. Please follow the emergency advisories provided and do not call 911 unless faced with a true emergency,” he tweeted wrote.

The aftershock was said to be centered 7.4 miles northwest of Bridgewater, just over the Somerset County line.
