Hardik is yet to win a match for his team since being appointed captain of Mumbai Indians. He looked to have good touch with the bat against the Royals but was unable to convert his cameo into bigger hits. When MI suffered another defeat in the ongoing election campaign, Hardik took to social media to post an encouraging message.

After the match, Hardik admitted that it was his wicket that changed the balance of the game in Rajasthan’s favour.

“Yes, it was a tough night and we didn’t start the way we wanted to.
