The Aam Aadmi Party is holding protests in the national capital demanding the release of its chairman Arvind Kejriwal. Protesters planned to head to the Prime Minister’s residence but were detained outside the party headquarters and dragged onto buses. Delhi Police has beefed up security along the roads leading to the Prime Minister’s residence. Officials said the gates of several metro stations in Delhi, including Patel Chowk and Central Secretariat, have been closed due to security reasons.
